OOOH, So Far From Home Being Shallow And Alone....
Chazz walked about the forest rather angrily, which honestly wasn't all that unusual for him, but today, he was especially beside himself with rage. It had only been a few days since he had been back in his new home, and already, he was having the darkest thoughts he had ever experienced since his separation from the Clan all those moons ago.
First of all, no one treated him with respect, which was irritating. If only they knew the kind of places he'd been... how hard he'd worked to get back here, just to make his brother proud. Didn't kin mean anything to these cats? Honor? Apparently not. He lived by a better code when he was on the streets then how he had been living the last couple of days.... It was disgusting.
But what was more disgusting was that his own brother... Dogstar. He hadn't given Chazz the light of day. The few words they exchanged were mostly Dogstar telling him to tell others what to do. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue for The Black Thunder, as, let's face it, he enjoyed bossing others around. He was quite good at it too, considering his life on the streets where he lead an entire group of alley cats... but something about this was different. Dogstar seemed to be shooing him off only because he wanted to spend extra quality time with his apprentice.
Now, Chazz wasn't an idiot. He could tell by the glint in his older brother's eyes that he wasn't training Earthpaw... he was manipulating him. Changing the apprentice into his lackey. In all honesty, The Black Thunder didn't give a shit about what Dogstar decided to do to his followers... but to invite him back into the clan only to shoo him off? That was despicable. What happened to blood was thicker then water?
"Moronic brother," he hissed under his breath as he sweapt his unsheathed claws at the bark of a tree. A cracking sound erupted as a chunk of it split off, leaving the sensitive, smooth wood underneath. Suddenly, Chazz struck another paw at the tree, and then another, until he was clawing at the plant mercilessly. All his anger and frustration was being worked out, but at the same time, he was causing such a ruckus that there was no way that someone wouldn't hear him....
WHY CAN'T YOU SEE It's Tearing Away What I Used To Be... I'm A Shadow Of A Soul....

Lilybreeze was sitting in the nursery, her kits were both in a deep sleep after there morning play fighting that usually always took place. Again she was not surprised to see that Dogstar didn't show up, again. He was far to busy with Earthpaw, which that was something she worried about as well. She really hoped that the tabby tom could keep a level head in this one and not get to far into the leaders lies. She didn't even know why she was even caring that Dogstar wasn't around, shouldn't she be happy? She got to raise her children the right way, and she wasn't constantly watched. Still she thought the point of having a mate was to be loved, and she did not feel it one bit. The whole thing just made her angry, she wanted to feel important and cared for. Though lately she was just like a widow, or she might as well be. Surpressing a sigh she turned to make sure that they were both comfortible. A small smile played at her lips before she leanded down to nussle each kit. They were getting so big now, it wouldn't be long before they were apprenticed.
Looking around she got to her paws, which ached from being unused for these moons. Stretching out her body she walked towards the nursery entrance a good walk through the forest would limber her out a bit. Turning to another queen she whispered to the other female, asking if she could watch her kits for a few hours. When the other queen gladly nodded she slipped out of the entrance. The light of the morning greted her and she blinked back a few times to let it adjust to the lighting. Once it did and her pupils retracted normally she made her way towards the forest. Padding out into the woods she was glad for the canopy of leaves that covered her from the suns warming rays. Taking a breath the white and grey she-cat moved with grace while she moved, stopping to stretch a leg at a time. With a quick arch of her back she yawned and shook her head, the rest of her groggyness was gone and she looked around brightly. She was already in a better mood than before. Trotting deeper into the forest she let her striking blue optics roll over the different trees and her ears flicked forward to hear the song birds of ThunderClans woodland.
It felt good to be out again, though she did have a longing for the mik scented den. The more wilk and warrior side of her was stil there though and the thought of it all made her a bit excited. Stopping she noticed a puddle of water beneath a tree, it must have gather when it rained. Leaning her neck down she swiped up the water with her tongue, feeling its cold liquid run down her throat. Much better than the moss she had to drink while in the nursery. She sat down beneath the tree to properly groom herself. Running her pink tongue along her fur in quick and swift motions. Her eyes closed as she focused on her fur, finally it was in agood state and it was soft and presentable. Pleased with her appearance now she checked herself quickly in the puddle before getting back to her paws. She slowly made her way deeper into the woods, a sound of scraping wood and flicked her ear lobes in surprise. What was all that noise?
She was surprisingly not afraid, but rather curious. Poking her head through the bushes, she noticed Dogstars brother, Black Thunder. She lowered her gaze a bit, someone was in a bad mood. Pushing her way out into the open she shook her pelt of leaves. "What are you trying to do, chop the tree down?" she mewed cooly, her striking blue gaze fixed on him as she closed some distance between them. Looking past him at the damage that was done she tilted her head to look at the deep wounds in the tree before back at him. "Quite impressive, Black Thunder." she mewed indicated the tree with her tail.[/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]

THE BRAIN NEEDS OXYGEN Can't Sneak Around This Bait....
At last, Chazz threw his final blow at the tree before him, chopping off a rather large splinter, and from the contact, sent it deep into his calloused paws. He let out a grunt of annoyance as he stared at the damage: a small trickle of blood dripped out of it, and for a few moments he stared at the crimson leaking onto his foot... that is until he heard a rustling in the bushes. Immediately, Chazz put his foot down, and he stared back up at the tree, admiring his handywork.
"What are you trying to do, chop the tree down?" a familiar voice called out. Who was it again? Flowerbreeze? He shrugged it off quickly, deciding it didn't matter too much. Chazz couldn't keep up with the weirdness of the Clan, and in some ways, he preferred it that way. Still... out of respect for his brother, he should probably learn a bit about his mate, right?
Though he hasn't shown me any of what I deserve, Chazz snarled in his mind. With those bitter thoughts clouding his mind, he completely overlooked Lilybreeze's first question, and instead let out a hiss of irritation.
"Quite impressive, Black Thunder." she mewed, breaking his thoughts. Chazz turned his head in just enough time to see Lily point to the tree he'd been so aggressive with moments before.
"Depends what perspective you're coming from, but I gotta keep my claws sharp on something. May as well use what you have abundant around here. Don't you all do things like that, or do your nails get dull from the cement -- wait, ugh," Chazz paused, realizing that his inquiry was absolutely ridiculous. There was NO cement out here, nor did these cats have to worry about such trivial things. He didn't see any other cat with his odd birth defect anyway. While on that thought, Chazz idly brought his paw up to the tree, brushing crimson onto its smooth bark as he felt each crevice that his claws had inflicted. Black Thunder winced at the contact, the stinging from the cut finally getting to him.
"Irritating," he spat as he shook his paw and placed it back underneath him where it belonged. He turned back to Lilybreeze, his ears flicking back and forth. Was there a reason she was here? Did his moron of a brother send her to tell him to issue more orders around? "What did my shithead of a brother tell you to tell me?" he asked coldly. "Or did you come to me of your own accord to tell me to get the hell out of your precious territory?"
Clearly, Chazz did not even consider there to be a third option, or maybe even a fourth. In reality, Lilybreeze could be there for a number of reasons... though nothing positive came to the Black Thunder's mind as he went over any other ideas....

Lily stared at this so called Black Thunder, looking at him she squinted her gaze at him. She could some what remember the kit that he was back in the day. She couldn't remember him being so...hostile? Though he was just a kit back then. He seemed to be ignoring her however, and she snorted in annoyance. Sitting down she swiped her tail over her paws quickly, the slight cloud like form of it floated about her like feathers. Turning she began to stare idly at her paws releasing the claws and retracting them, they shined a light grey color. She wondered if she should just leave, he was no company anyway. Well he was but not a good kind and he didn't seem to want her around anyway. Flicking her gaze up once she caught the scent of blood. Zeroing her gaze on his hurt pad, serves him right hacking away at the tree like that she thought and placed her own paw on the floor. She felt a little stupid just sitting there, but it was a free land and she had the right to, even if he didnt want her around. Not that it mattered, she may be soft on the outside but on the inside she was just as tough as any of them, with a sharp attitude that she usually kept dorment within.
"Depends what perspective you're coming from, but I gotta keep my claws sharp on something. May as well use what you have abundant around here. Don't you all do things like that, or do your nails get dull from the cement -- wait, ugh,"
The white and grey she-cat flicked her ears forward at the sound of him voice. He seemed irritated, but that seemed to be him all the time. Just like his brother in some ways, but Dogstar, Dogshadow at the time did show some gentleness towards her. She banished this thought from her mind instantly, he wasn't the same he was darker now that he had the power he wanted. She didn't even consider herself his mate anymore. Catching parts of what he said to her she tilted her head at the last part. What was.. cement? Seeing he was flustered by the mistake she leveled her gaze cooly. "City thing I imagine, but yes we do. Just not so viciously" she mewed plainly and quickly looked towards the canopy of leaves above, so pretty during this time of day. She could hear as he moved and turned her attention back on the black and white time cat. Striking blue gaze following him as he touched the bark of the tree, or what was left of it anyways. His blood streaked across the bits of wood.
She shook her head. "I wouldn't do that, you could get splinters. Hold on." she mewed and got back onto her paws, every cat knew a bit about herbs, well those who hung around the medicine cats dens more as a kit and apprentice. Walking towards the bushes again she paused and sniffed at the leaves, and carefully ran her gaze along the branches. Aha she thought as she spotted the cobweb she was looking for. Wrapping it around her paw she sort of limped back on three legs. Pushing it off with her other paw she pushed it towards him. "Here, for the paw so it doesn't get infected. I know you wouldn't want my help, so just pres it on your pad." she intructed her voice cool and normal, before she flicked her gaze up at him. Not expecting a proper thank you at all for her help. Taking another step back she sat down, swiped her tail back over her paws. "What did my shithead of a brother tell you to tell me?" he asked coldly. "Or did you come to me of your own accord to tell me to get the hell out of your precious territory?" Lily's eyes lifted in surprise, well now that was enough. Wrinkling her nose her lips bent into a scowl. "For your information, I was not sent by your brother. I came on my own, just because I was--am.." she stumbled over the last part but kept her gaze and scowl on place. "Well whatever I am to him, doesn not mean I am his messenger, I could care less about whatever arrangement you two have." she huffed and turned away from him, she never felt this angry sense well awhile. Turning back to him, her face was normal but her gaze was sharp and narrowed. "And if I wanted to chase you away, I would have. Obviously not since I helped with your paw. I came out here to stretch my legs." she growled her tail tip twitched, how infuriating he was! She was not bound to camp like a little love slave to the leader, there when he decided he wanted more kits or not. She was her own cat, and she was not bound to him, whatever they were supposed to be she was not. Not anymore, her heart was free but her name was what tied them Dogstar and Lilybreeze, what did names and titles mean anyway, you heart is what really matters and she owuld not let Dogstar have any more heirs if she could help it. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub] [Wow, I really got into Lily right now x3]

LET ME STAY Where The Wind Will Whisper To Me....
Suddenly, Chazz found himself angry, not at Lilybreeze or anyone else, but himself. He stared down at the cobwebs now safely wrapped around his paw, and then looked back up at the obviously infuriated she-cat before him. Her tail was swishing in fury at his statements, and he really couldn't blame her.
What was this feeling prickling at his pelt....? Was he actually regretting his actions? He averted his gaze from the she-cat and softly put his foot down onto the moist dirt below. So much different then what he was used to. Cement was hard and unforgiving, and when he was still new to the streets, his paws would often bleed... but never had anyone stopped to take care of him. Not that there was any real form of help on the streets, but no one even thought to help each other out. It was every cat for himself out there.
Shifting uncomfortably, Chazz tried to muster up something to say. An apology? No, he had far too much pride to ever admit he had any regrets. Perhaps then, a thank you... for the cobwebs. That thought put a bitter taste in his mouth too. I have no idea how to talk to these cats! he exclaimed in his own mind. After a few more moments of silence, he finally decided to wing it:
"Well, I'm glad you're not my brother's little slave then," he started. "He uh- no, you- dammit, I don't know what I'm doing!" Chazz flattened his ears back against his head in embarrassment, desperately trying to collect himself. Surely, Lilybreeze was laughing at him by now, and Chazz had had too much of that in his lifetime to let it ever happen again. "You deserve someone better then Dogstar. That moron doesn't deserve anything that he has! He wouldn't have gotten it without our other brother anyway. The bastard...."
It wasn't really his intention to go off on a tangent about how he both detested and adored his family, because all he was trying to do was make amends for his mistake. It was clear Chazz had a long way to go before he could let go of his pride and arrogance, and somewhere deep down, he knew that it would take a lot more then one failed attempt at manners to make him change even slightly.
But why should he have to change? He was his own being. He was Chazz, The Black Thunder....

Lily could fel the anger emitting off her in waves, it was quite alarming actually as her more calm self was trying to take over once again. They struggled back and forth in her body, but slowly ever so slowly the calmness was swimming through her once again and her ail laid flat, though she did not take that narrowed look off her face. She may be a flower but she was more of a rose, soft pretty petals but sharp like the thorns of its stem. Though she was named Lily for her rare and myseteriousness, personality wise. Plus lilies were beautiful flowers and resembled her soft coat. Running her gaze along his features he seemed angry, but yet he was not staring at her at all. Had she struck a nerve, inwardly? Maybe but she was not apologizing for anything why should she? He deserved all of her hostility right there, but now she was more calm and serene again, funny how quickly it changed. Relaxing her gaze now she just stared, cooly but turned stubbornly away to look at the trees now. Something about him... She couldn't put her paw on it. No matter how mad he got her she still....cared? Cared for his well being and transition back into clan life. Why? Why did she even remotly care what he was doing, she shouldn't he obviously didnt want it.
Because thats who you are Lilybreeze. her mothers soft voice rung through out her ears and she sighed. She was right, she had always been the listener, the adiviser, the comforter and she always would be even though she was stubborn and a bit tempered at times. Letting her body relax she slowly let her gaze float onto the tom cat, who now seemed distraught and irritated. She almost felt bad for him, he probably wasn't used to anyone ever tending a paw or even blowing up on him like that. Well maybe the last part but not the first. In an attempt to smooth this little fight over she looked at the hurt paw. "Is it feeling any better?" she asked flicking her feathery tail to his paw. Blinking her pretty blue eyes she watched him a minute, he seemed o be trying to get some words together but was struggling to say them right. He probably didn't even hear her question he looked so focused. Shifting a bit on her paws she waited for him to speak, letting the silence hang for a moment.
"Well, I'm glad you're not my brother's little slave then,"..."He uh- no, you- dammit, I don't know what I'm doing!" Lilybreeze's eyebrows lifted in surprise but they soon relaxed as she just listed to him speak. She did not laugh, nor tease him for this she understood he was trying to say something nice or at least something close to it. She put on her soothing face and scooted a bit closer to him, enough to rest her tail upon his sholder. "Shhh, its ok I understand. And yes Im far from a slave to him, and yet...." she stared at his features a bit before concluding. " so are you." she finished her voice almost slightly surprised, he was not slave to him either he obviously had mixed feelings about this whole thing and for that she was slightly relieved. Removing her tail she took a few steps away agan and sat down, letting her tail fall slowly to the forest floor. "You deserve someone better then Dogstar. That moron doesn't deserve anything that he has! He wouldn't have gotten it without our other brother anyway. The bastard...."
Lily was touched yet intrigued, what did there other brother have to do with this? She tried to think things over but they wouldn't quite piece together right. For some reason she felt like she should confide in him her suspicions. Closing her eyes she tried to think this all through, maybe she should, maybe she shouldn't she didn't know. "Im scared for ThunderClan. Somethings wrong, I can feel it in my bones." she mewed calmly yet with a serious edge to her words. Finally opening her eyes she turned her striking blue optics back on his face, worried was in her eyes, though she sighed and lowered her head. He wouldn't understand nor did he even care about what happend to them. He already seemed to hate it here anyways. She said enough without saying too much of her thoughts, there must be a reason why Dogstar picked Earthpaw as an apprentice he hated Barkstar and his kin, something was off. Turning her face back towards him, she straightened up. "Im sorry." was all she could say, what she was sorry for.. well he could interpret it as anything he wanted. She didn't even know. Was she sorry that he was related to Dogstar? Sorry that she even told him about her thoughts? Sorry that he was stuck here during this? She didn't know, it just semed like the right thing to say for some odd reason. Flicking her lobes in thought she turned back to him. "What did your other brother have to do with Dogstar being where he is now?" she asked, she was curious to know. "If you rather not tell me its fine." she added quickly. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]

COME ON, COME ON Put Your Hands Into The Fire....
"I'm scared for ThunderClan. Somethings wrong, I can feel it in my bones." she confided in Chazz. He tilted his head in curiosity at that statement, returning the stare Lilybreeze gave him with a different kind of intensity. He flicked his ears forward and then back, waiting to see if she would say anything else. When she looked down in hopelessness, The Black Thunder's tail swished behind him once, showing his disappointment. So, he didn't get anymore information.... well, it wasn't any of his business. This wasn't really his home after all....
Turning her face back towards him, she straightened up. "I'm sorry."
Now that was a surprise. Why the hell was she sorry? Regardless, Chazz felt touched somewhere in his heart... but it was at a very far corner that would never show itself on the surface. He blinked once, and considered asking Lilybreeze what made her pity him, but kept his mouth shut. He didn't really want to start up another argument, and it was likely that whatever her reasoning was would make him angry.
"What did your other brother have to do with Dogstar being where he is now?" she asked. "If you rather not tell me its fine." she added quickly.
"Thornclaw?" he replied in question. "Wouldn't you know more about him then I would? Thornclaw, our oldest brother... he pushed the ambitions into all of our heads. He gave both Dogstar and I our confidence, even if I was only just a kit. I owe a lot to him... but he's gone, and I'll never be able to tell him of my time on the street... how I became The Black Thunder from my days as a kittypet. I lost it all though... and Dogstar has everything he wants, only he doesn't appreciate it in the least. He's manipulating the Clan. I can see where your uneasiness comes from."
Chazz paused, turning his gaze to the sky, "The only thing I remember about ThunderClan is the days where I looked up to my older brothers. They always pushed me to do my best, but they pushed me way too hard. I was captured by humans because I wanted to prove to them that I was ready to be an apprentice before the normal age. It didn't work... and now look at me. I'm a waste.... I no longer have a place that feels like home. I thought it would be here, back with my brothers, but Dogstar has shown my no compassion. He's only used me as his lackey."
He shifted his body to make himself more comfortable as he settled beside Lilybreeze, and then brought his gaze back down to her. He really had no idea why he was confiding in her, but it was too late to back out now, "But I'm not ready to give up yet. Dogstar is still my kin... and I still only know him as the one I looked up to all those moons ago. I'm not ready to abandon him yet. It's stupid... he's going to double-cross me. I know it in the deepest parts of my being. I've met cats like him. He's got the glint in his eye that comes with blood-lust and power. I don't know how many he's killed, or what his intentions are, but its hard to break the habit once you start. Believe me, I know from experience. There's a thrill in watching the life leave someone's eyes... but it can mess you up real bad."
He stopped suddenly, realizing what his rambling had lead him to admit. With a start, he jumped up, fearing what Lilybreeze might think of him now. Why did he even care what she thought? Yes, he'd murdered before... but it was how things were on the streets. They were unforgiving, and only the strongest could survive... but she didn't know that. She wasn't a city cat... she was a Clan cat.
But why did he care what she thought of him? It was all too weird. Chazz was not good at reading his own emotions, and instead, stored them inside in a far away place until he could release them in fits of fury, like he did on the tree.
He flattened his ears to his head and took a few steps back from sheer panic. He didn't like this. At all.

Lily was sure that Black Thunder would just get up and leave, thinking she was some sort of whiner. At least that is what Dogstar would probably do, but then she had to remember that he was not Dogstar,no one was but the cat in question. She could not be the ' look only at the cover' type of cat, but to try and look beyond what was scene, which is how she found out so much of what she knew. Not many others really looked at someone, I mean really look at them like she did, maybe that was why she held so much compassion for the black and white tom before her. Her striking blue optics looked up at him then, he seemed to be considering what she said, and maybe was yearning to know more about what she meant, but she wasn't sure she should mention it to him as of yet. When he finally looked at her, tilting his head as he asked about Thronclaw. And how she should know more than he should. It was then she felt embaressed, she should and when she really thought about it some past memories came flooding back to her. She suddenly remembered how dark their olde brother was, how he just like Dogstar was a manipulator. It caused the slender female to shudder quickly.
"The only thing I remember about ThunderClan is the days where I looked up to my older brothers....
She quickly turned her attention back to the tom cat her almond shaped ear lobes tilted forward to really listen to what he had to tell her. It was one thing that made her different, she actually really listened to you when you spoke to her. The young females gaze was gentle and inviting as he spoke about his brothers and how he wanted nothing less that to prove he was good enough. When he spoke about being a waste she let her gaze harden yet soften all at the same time. "Don't say that! No cat is a waste, we all have our paths. It's finding it thats the hard part. ThunderClan is your home now, if you want it." she mewed sternly yet it was full of gentleness, it wasn't pushing him to stay but telling him that he was welcome in these forests. When he spoke about Dogstar she allowed her nose to crinkle with distain. "Well, he never really showed compassion to anyone. I fear he is trying to get at Earthpaw as well." she mewed giving a sigh turning her gaze on his face as he moved towards her. She was a bit surprised to see tht he moved so close to her, the tips of there fur practically touching. She did not react though, but just smiled happy that he even confiding anything at all to her. And suddenly she felt ashamed for not telling him as much as he's told her. "But I'm not ready to give up yet. Dogstar is still my kin...There's a thrill in watching the life leave someone's eyes... but it can mess you up real bad." Lily turned her head up to him, hisface was closer enough now that she could clearly read his expressions, he was still determined to show his brother how he's grown. Though really there was no need to. She could understand why he could not just leave his brother completly, blood was blood she understood that. She kept her blue gaze focused on his own as he continued talking about how he could in some ways relate to Dogstar's power hungry nature, and when he finished she stared , her eyes widened. So he was a killer as well? Part of her felt lost then, but then another part told her that life over there was different, harder with this cement he talke dabout and cats who lived by no code at all. In am oment Black Thunder was up on his paws and backing away, horrified. Did he actually care about what she thought of him? She actually didn't know what to think right now, but it was her turn to confess it was only fair. Getting to her paws she walked towards him. "Do not be afraid. You forget, Clan life is also filled with plenty of bloodshed. Blood ive seen and spilled back in my apprentice days. So please, don't leave." she mewed soothingly, her striking optics rested on his face as she stopped a few pawsteps before him. "You have confided so much in me, now it is my turn. Even if you tell Dogstar, I will take my fate." she mewed and shifted a bit on her paws before sitting down and swiping her tail completly around her. "You know of Earthpaw. He was the only son to Barkstar, previous leader. I fear that he means more to this clan than we all know. And that is why Dogstar is so interested in him. With Dogstar here only more pain and more suffering will take place I know it, he is conspiring against us all in a way. I just hope he does not get in Earthpaws head. Dogstar murdered Earthpaws father moons ago.... and so he is vulnerable. I don't know what to do. I admit I am afraid of whats to come, I just wish I could do more. If anyone is useless it is me, what good am I to anyone?" she confided, her eyes flashed with worry as she looked up to Black Thunder, but stayed where she was, in a way she was just as lost as he was. Her home was slowly being twisted into something horrible. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]

CUT MY LIFE INTO PIECES, This Is My Last Resort....
If anyone is useless it is me, what good am I to anyone?"
Chazz stayed silent for a moment, mixed emotions running through his body and sending heated waves out of him. To his side, he was sure Lilybreeze could feel it too... his conflict. The turmoil that he felt regarding his family... His brother was smart. Crazed and devious, but smart. In that way, Chazz had to respect him a little bit. He knew the game he was up to. He'd played it himself on the streets... but he felt bad. He'd seen the horrors he caused, and while he felt no regret for the things he'd done in the past, he had at least played out his fights in fairness, knowing that he would win, but his opponents also being well aware of this fact. It was a rule in the streets. You didn't back down, no matter what challenge... and you'd just fight until you dropped. That was the life he knew....
But it was not a life he wanted.
And yet, neither was this. It was almost a parallel situation, only with someone else pulling the strings. He didn't have too much of an issue about being bossed around, but there was a certain code of honor he followed that Dogstar clearly wasn't. Emotional abuse was one of those things that he'd ruled out of his reign because of his experiences... and Dogstar was using the fragile mind as an asset. It was... disgusting.
And yet so effective.
"I know what Dogstar's up to," Chazz responded finally. "But it's not my responsibility to stop it. What lies ahead for ThunderClan is not going to be pretty, I can assure you that. Whether Earthpaw contributes or not is his choice and his choice alone. You cannot influence actions of strong willed souls. No one has successfully done it to me anyway, and I assume Earthpaw is as strong as he looks."
Realizing that this was not helpful in any way to Lilybreeze, Chazz thought of something he could say to make it sound better... anything.... And finally, something struck him. She had said that he wasn't a waste, yet she contradicted herself by saying she was one herself, "Perhaps you won't be useless. There might be something you can do. At least, there's always something to try. You are Dogstar's mate. He chose you for a reason. Try to talk with him... ask him to make Earthpaw's mentor someone else? Just don't say me, good god, I wouldn't be able to handle a kit."
He shook his head, resisting the urge to smile at his lighthearted joke. Chazz was rarely, if ever, a soul one could hold a conversation with, but he found this... enjoyable somehow. Confiding in someone... he never knew it was so relieving.
"And you know, there's always the option of leaving if things get too difficult here. I have a territory out in the alleyway, though I can't promise it will be as welcoming as the forest..."
What am I doing? he asked himself. I can't waltz back into the city with a cat that knows nothing about living there... plus, she'd be hounded by all the guys. I don't like that idea.... She's too delicate for that.... he trailed off. Well, maybe not. She was a warrior after all, and as she said, she'd experienced much bloodshed, especially as of late.
"Do you... want to see my former home?" he offered. It would be interesting... taking a Clan cat to somewhere completely foreign. "Or can you not handle the heat?"
He smirked, wondering if Lilybreeze was the type to play such games. Chazz never backed down from any sort of challenge. He saw it as weakness. But was this she-cat of the same attitude? He'd just have to wait and see....
SUFFOCATION No Breathing, Don't Give A Fuck If I Cut My Arm Bleeding....
((OOC: completely up to you. I think it would be fun to go for a city escape >3))

The white and grey she-cat watched Black Thunder, her calm gaze running over his features trying to see what he was thinking, how he felt. Would he run and tell Dogstar what she said, that even she knew well sort of knew what he was up to. Her mind wandered to that thought, of Dogstar bursting into the nursery his eyes intense and cruel as they normally were. The thought sent chills down the females spine, and she shook in response before quickly licking at her chest fur to calm herself down. When she was full in control again she turned her gaze back on him, giving him an apologetic look for her shivering before. He seemed to be in deep thought though almost debating in his mind. She could practically feel the tension going on inside his body, almost as if it crawled of hsi body and covered her own, even then she could feel herself tense up as he was, before letting her slender form relax again as he seemed to make up his mind on sometihng, what it was she was not even sure anymore. Part of her hoped that he would keep her secret and the other was dreading what would happen to her kits, she was the one that kept them safe and uncorrupted from the leader.
"I know what Dogstar's up to," Lilybreeze turned her gaze back on him quickly. Her ear lobes flicked forward to listen to what he was going to say. Was he on her side? The resistance, hmm she rather liked that name. By some looks of the other clan cats she would not be the only one on this side. rying not to distract herself she focused mainly on Black Thunder waiting for him to continued. When he did she listened intently, only in a way she could. She anaylized ever word and it processed into her mind. Her thoughts quickly mulled it over and took it apart. So she was right it was going to be messy, and she so hoped it wouldn't come to it, but according to him it was. At least she knew about it now, and maybe she could talk to Sunstorm later on the subject. When he spoke about Earthpaw she blinked back into full attention and nodded slowly, agreeing. It was Earthpaw and only him that could choose to resist or.. she froze at the thought, give into Dogstars manipulation. She hoped it was the first one, but he was right Earthpaw was always wise even as a young apprentice, he was strong willed like Barkstar. She had to believe that he could do this on his own.
"Perhaps you won't be useless. There might be something you can do...." Lily tilted her head slightly as she gave a confused look. What could she do? When she heard his suggestion she shook her head slowly, Dogstar never listened to her she was only chosen because she could produce great heirs and seemed fragile enough for him to over come. She was nothing special. "I am nothing special to him, just someone who produced good heirs. That is all. But my heart is not bound to him, I am... still free in a way." she mewed softly and ran her gaze over his face, glad that she could talk to someone in the Clan, it felt good to get these worries off her chest. When he mentioned Earthpaw being a kit she laughed, her sweet melodic laugh that she had not done in awhile. It felt good to laugh, to be happy for once instead of alone and kept away, since Dogstar rarely let anyone near her. She gave Black Thunder and warm smile as he seemd to shift a bit. She looked at him curiously, what was he thinking? "And you know, there's always the option of leaving if things get too difficult here. I have a territory out in the alleyway, though I can't promise it will be as welcoming as the forest..." Her ears perked and her eyes widened, leave the forest? But this was her home, she was born in this forest, trained in this forest, she didn't think she could ever really leave it, no matter what happend. She promised to defend ThunderClan and she would do just that. She was determined to. Though part of her flushed, and it rose to her cheek, she was suddenly glad for fur as it hid her cheeks. Was he asking her to leave with him? When she thought of it that way she was quite intrigued by the thought and almost tempted to. Was that weird? It felt a bit odd that she wanted to go somewhere with him. Pushing that thought aside she turned her striking gaze back on his own. "I could never leave ThunderClan permentatly." she mewed gently, it was her home as twisted as it was getting. StarClan surly wouldn't let them fall would they? "Do you... want to see my former home?"... "Or can you not handle the heat?" Lily's gaze ran over his face as he smirked. And she to smirked back at him, it wouldn't hurt to go explore a bit. Learn a little more about this Black Thunder. She ran the idea over in her mind, the other queens would surely take care of the kits, and they would not be gone to long she was sure. Looking to her paws as she thought she waited, finally deciding that she should go and have an adventure before the downfall, something to say she had done and seen before her time was done. Flicking her gaze up at him, she slowly rose her head. "I can't say no to a challenge." she mewed giving him a sly grin, the wild warrior lily was still within her begging her to go, and telling her she would regret it later if she didn't. "Im ready when you are." [/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]
