Although the tabby tom was rarely even in his den, the place still always felt like home, and lying in the moss, a content grin on his face, the tabby tom studied the large mouse someone had left in his den, along with the fresh moss. Of course, the mouse only reminded him of his new friend Jack, and more questions seemed to form in his mind as he tossed the creature between his paws, a habit not even his mother had managed to knock out of him. Just as he was about to take a bite into the creature, the medicine cat's voice rung through the den. "Barkstar! Lilybreeze would like you to see her kits! They're as beautiful as she is!" His ears pricked up at once and within a heartbeat he was on his pawws, the mouse in his jaws as he strolled past the medicine cat, giving her a thankful, lop-sided grin.
Barkstar had tried for moons now to move on from his best friend, after all, first he'd had a mate, and now she did, all because he was too daft of a fellow to go and stand up hen Sandswallow died. He hadn't told his son about how his parents had simply been forced into a relationship and every day he was wishing Earthpaw was Lilybreeze's, and that she was his mate, not that black and white furballs. But as he approached the medicine cat's den, he could hear his deputy's soft words, and knew that today wasn't the right time to be thinking of things that weren't needed. Today was a day for simple celebration, for the futue of the clan. I can't see what good of a future will come though of kits born to that tom though.
Giving a cheery mrrow of a purr to Dogshadow, who had somehow ended up out the entrance, he shoved past, careful to jam his shoulder between Dogshadow's and his body while moving, glancing back with an apologetic look as he stumbled inside. Of course, to otheers it would've seemed apologetic, but his eyes were ice-cold in a glare only meant for the black tom, one that said "I know what you're doing to her and may starclan help me when I catch you doing it." Strolling forward to where Wingedheart was sitting next to Lilybreeze, he couldn't help but give a loud, cheerful purr when his soft gaze met the two small bodies huddled up against his friend's side. Sitting down, he blinked warmly at Wingedheart before dropping the mouse at Lilybreeze's head.
"They're beautiful sweetheart. Like sunstorm said, just like their mother," he purred warmly. It wasn't like this was any different to how he usually talked to the she-cats in his clan, or Lilybreeze, just something about it seemed to suggest something that wasn't real, and he knew that the chances were that Dogshadow, standing in the entrance, would not take his meant to be friendly words like that.

It is always wonderful when a kit is born. When a new life is brought into this world. Innocence is a kit's goal in life. They have no purpose but to move on, grow up and enter a world that at the moment seems so simple. They wish to move on not knowing how presous their innocence is. Not knowing how much they might wish to reenter their kithood again when they are older. Life is a game to them, and that fact gives hope to those who see life as a burden that they must carry. Kits give life to those who did not have a purpose before.
It was the same with Cinderkit. The little gray kitten was innocent, having not clue about an of the world trobles. He had not even opened his eyes yet. He was a bundle of fur. He had just entered the world, mewling and wanting milk. He heard voices, but did not understand what was said. He felt his ister, though he did not yet know who she was. He would soon though. He would soon open his eyes and see the world though kits eyes, but he would still be innocent. He would explore and play, but he would still not know the world troubles. He would be a happy kit when he opened his eyes, and he was a happy kit now. He suckled with the warm body of his sister next to him and his mother on the other side.

Lilybreeze Lily could not keep her striking blue gaze off of the two kits that suckled beside her. Her eyes landing on little Cinderkit, she could tell by the way his head moved around that he would be a curious one in the coming days. She purred as Sunstorm helped clean them off from the birthing sac and blinked happily that everything was just fine. She knew that from all that work she should be exhausted but really she was just to proud to want to sleep. Her white silk colored fur glisted against her pale grey mask. She tilted her head to the side, she realised that the two kits more resembled parts of her rather than Dogshadow. Cinderkit had her grey color and Icekit had her white color. In a way she was happy about that.
"May StarClan light their paths and make them honorable warriors in the next moons," ..... "Who knows, perhaps one of them would like to become a medicine cat!"
Lily lifted her gaze to Sunstorm, smiling brightly at the she-cat who had helped her through her first kitting, and for some reason she felt it wouldnt be her last. She had an odd way of predicting things without actually knowing. She nodded at the she-cat, she did deserve an apprentice. "Maybe! Cinderkit already looks like the curious type. Though his future is all up to him. Though i wouldn't hurt to ask him when hes older." she suggested politly and curled her tail surrounding the kits but not hiding them. She just wanted them to be nice and warm. "I don't know about Wingedheart, but Barkstar should be in his den. I'll fetch him for you after I finish checking up on everything, though, I strongly believe these kits will be fine."
Lilybreeze dipped her head respectfully. "Thankyou again Sunstorm for everything. Im glad everything went so well. I was so scared at first... im glad it was you to help me today." she mewed warmly resting her tail on her shoulder for a moment before hearing pawsteps. Turning her head she recognized a familiar smell. "Oh, Lily.. They're adorable!" Lily purred in delight as she saw her friend come into the nursery. She was one of the few that called her by a nickname, and really she was quite fond of the name. She turned to see Sunstorm leave and turned her gaze back to Wingedheart. "Im so relieved, they both look like me and not...him" she confided quietly, whispering so no one else could hear. She sighed and licked at their heads again. She looked up at Wingedheart, wanting to tell her who she really wanted to be the kits father, and maybe... she could. "I really wish the father could have been..." he voice was still in a whisper but she paused when Barkstar entered the den. Her eyes instantly brighted and she blinked warmly at him. He looked at them fondly and at once her heart clentched. He chose Sandswallow... she thought to herself and tried to stop the flutter in her chest. They're beautiful sweetheart. Like sunstorm sai, just like their mother," She held back a blush and just dipped her head. "Why thankyou Barkstar." she mewed gently giving him a warm smile as she looked shyly to her paws. A thought crossed her mind as she remembered what she had overheard one morning. Dogshadow wanted to get rid off Wingedheart, or at least it sounding something like that along those lines. anyway she lifted her gaze back up to him. A bit of concern flashed in her eyes as she looked at him. "That reminds me, Barkstar I need to talk to you about something later. Alone. If thats ok?" she mewed, she needed to tell someone her worries and Barkstar just always got her. [/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub]

Wingedheart bent over the pair of kits, sniffing them carefully and feeling a big smile spread over her face, making her feel rather ridiculous. She hadn't smiled like that in a long time, and she held back the desire to rub at her face. The two kits were adorable though, and she was thrilled to find very little resemblance at all to Dogshadow in either one of them. It was something that she knew she'd have to brag about or drop hints over, ones that the tom might accidentally catch. She wouldn't be able to pass that opportunity up. Apparently, she wasn't the only who had caught their looks, as Lilybreeze murmured, "Im so relieved, they both look like me and not...him." Wingedheart nodded her head in agreement, murmuring back that, "I don't think that would've gone over too well." The deputy pointed out, watching Lilybreeze run a loving tongue over their heads. "Sure, he's a great warrior and all, but we don't need any more narcissists in this clan. Hopefully, by the looks of them, they'll have your temperment too." Lilybreeze started to say something, something that caught Wingedheart's attention like a rabbit might and she leaned forward, as if hoping to catch the words that died on her friend's lips as someone else entered the den. Worried that it was Dogshadow, she whirled around and saw Barkstar instead. Relief swam through her as she purred a greeting to her good friend and leader. They're beautiful sweetheart. Like sunstorm said, just like their mother." The deputy nodded in agreement, flicking her long tail as she studied the two of them. Something said, from the smile and shy look Lilybreeze was sending her paws, or the warm and slightly sappy look Barkstar had on his face, that they might want a moment with each other. The she-cat yawned, and flicked her tail again, falling back into her business-like mode. "Yes, well, I think I'll go and make sure Dogshadow knows how cute his kits are." Okay, that was the worst excuse in the world, and she rolled her eyes at Barkstar as she stepped out of the den. Hearing Lilybreeze's other words, she ignored them, knowing that the queen would get a chance to discuss whatever was the matter now, since Wingedheart had so kindly stepped out.
~~
Seeing Wingedheart had stepped out, with an amused expression on her face, Dogshadow's lip curled. He wasn't thrilled that Barkstar and Lilybreeze were alone in there. Together and alone. The shove and look Barkstar had sent him said he knew something that he shouldn't, and it was pissing Dogshadow off. He had every right to do whatever he wanted with Lilybreeze; she was his mate, for Starclan's sake! His eyes were practically burning holes in the stuff that seperated him from Barkstar, that cursed leader who seemed to think he could have whatever he wanted. Well, Dogshadow had news for this guy. Barkstar was delusional. There was no way that he was getting Lilybreeze, not on his watch. Anger lit, like gas poured on a candle; it spilled forth and set fire to the rest of him. He could hear a dull roar growing in his ears and gritted his teeth, ears flattening, as she looked at the threat to his manlihood and mate.
The black and white tom strode forward, fangs baring before he forced his lip over his teeth, trying not to look quite as murderous as he felt. Nonetheless, Wingedheart, that accursed deputy, saw him coming. Her eyes narrowed and she met him halfway, ears flattening like his own and fur bristling. "Back off, Dogsh-" She started to order, but he pushed past her, making her snarl and went inside the den, practically taking up the entire space with his enraged body, shoulders brushing the sides of the entrance as his gaze fell on Lilybreeze smiling warmly at Barkstar, who was much too close to her, as far as Dogshadow was concerned. "Listen, Barkstar. Back off and do it now. I've seen the way you look at her, you gutless piece of miserable, cheating foxdung! You were never loyal, not once, and if you think you're getting close to Lilybreeze, then you're dead wrong!" He put his face in Barkstar's and snarled. He wasn't in the least bit afraid of the leader, being the biggest warrior in his clan and easily out-sized the other cat. His eyes gleamed, a clear challenge. "Feeling a little.. frightened, Barkstar?" He grinned maliciously.

The way the beautiful she-cat dipped her head in embarressment noyl brought a soft purr out of the leader's throat as per usual. She was always so beautiful when she was blushing, he just wished it was his right to tell her that. There were a lot of things he wished hew as able to tell her. "Why thank you Barkstar. That reminds me, Barkstar I need to talk to you about something later. Alone. If thats ok?" The slight sense of concern in the she-cat's voice started to worry him. "Yes, well, I think I'll go and make sure Dogshadow knows how cute his kits are." Looking up he gave a small grin to Wingedheart as she slipped past. Gaze drifting back to Lilybreeze, he studied her face for a few moments before sitting down behind her, trying to smother the urge to start cleaning her dust-covered fur.
Leaning forward so his chest was brushing against her back, he looked at her face again, before meowing in a low voice, "What's wrong? You may as well tell me no..." Before he could finish however, the huge form of Dogshadow had shoved his way into the nursery and was blocking out most of the light. Waves of anger flooded off the black tom, and that did nothing but set alight the eader's hatred of the tom. "Listen, Barkstar. Back off and do it now. I've seen the way you look at her, you gutless piece of miserable, cheating foxdung! You were never loyal, not once, and if you think you're getting close to Lilybreeze, then you're dead wrong!" He felt another wave of strong, fueled anger and hatred flood over him and before anyone could suggest him calming down, he was standing in front of Lilybreeze nd her kits in a protective pose. This tom was getting no where near them if he had anything to do with it, and he didn't care if the kits were the black tom's.
"Who are you to order me around you lowly, mouse-brained piece of crow-food." He spat, the fur along his spine bristling up as he stared directly into the tom's eyes, showing no hints of backing down. He'd sat around and watch this huge chunk of rotting flesh hurt his closest friend for too long, and right now, well the tom had been the one to start it. pressing his face even closer than Dogshadow's had been, the tom let out a short, sharp snarl. "I was only ever loyal to Sandswallow, and to my clan, unlike some, I did what my family asked and served my clan, that's it." "Feeling a little.. frightened, Barkstar?" baring his shar fangs atthe tom, he smirked, not moving in the slightly. "Why should I be scared of a piece of rotting crow-food?"

If it hadn't been for the yelling coming from the camp, the ginger tom might've stayed out longer, but his curiousity got the better of him, and padding back into the camp, he at once looked around, taking careful note of the positions of everyone in the clan and anything that was different from when he'd left. At once his blue gaze noticed Wingedheart standing near the nursery entrance, a look of murde rin her eyes, and looking into the nursery, he noticed Dogshadow was blocking the entrance as felt a wave of protectiveness sweep over him, and this wave carried him over to the entrance, where he could hear Barkstar's strong voice addressing someone, who he guessed was Dogshadow. Stepping to the ginger and white she-cat's side, he studied her for a moment, resisiting the urge to question her right there and then about what was going on, but instead he just stood to her side, concern and curiousity glowing in his gaze.
"Lilybreeze have her kits?" he asked after a few heartbeat of tasting the air and studying the nursery entrance. Looking at Wingedheart, he tried to keep his emotions under check, but he couldn't really hide the concern that was there, that had always been there since Lilybreeze had whispered what she'd heard to him, telling him to keep an eye on the deputy who stood near him. Of course, he'd do that without a question anyways, but something in the queen's voice had him worried all the time, and although he wasn't going to say that to her face, it was only the truth. Looking across the camp, he tried to piece together what might be happening, but with the muffled yelling and smothered scents, it was really hard to tell, even for him.

Sunstorm had not been gone long from the situation. She'd only vanished for a brief moment to gather a few more necessary herbs for Lilybreeze, and to wipe her mind clean of any misconceptions about Dogshadow.
Of course, that second part was all in vain when she reappeared into the Camp, her ears automatically honing in on the fight about to take place. A wave of fury hotter then fire poured off Sunstorm as she gripped the bundle of leaves in her jaw too tightly. A bitter taste entered her maw, only fueling her disdain. Without an extra moments hesitation, Sunstorm padded forward, her steps hard and heavy against the floor, as if she was dragging the heavy weight of her anger on a chain behind her.
Without a word, she pushed passed the two warriors blocking her view from the scene, only to find her nose right at the back of Dogshadow. A sharp hiss escaped her maw as she resisted the urge to bite the large tom's tail.
"Dogshadow, move," she said with utmost seriousness. "Now." Without waiting for an answer, Sunstorm padded passed him, and to her surprise, saw her own leader standing guard over Lilybreeze. Now, Sunstorm was not one to go out of her place, but even she was beyond her limit with the leader. "Barkstar, I'm ashamed. I don't know what happened, but both of you immature kits can take your egotistical hides outside to settle this. There are newborn kits in here, and I'll be damned to Dark Forest if they don't get their proper care. That means taking your claws and fangs outside."
Sunstorm glared at Barkstar, and then Dogshadow in turn. Her eyes narrowed on the larger tom. Forget all she had told herself about giving him the benefit of the doubt. Clearly, if Barkstar was angry with him, then Sunstorm had the right feeling in her gut that he was a piece of fox-dung. With a final nod to both of them, Sunstorm turned towards Lily, peering over at her kits. One look at them, and Sunstorm immediately softened, but she would not start her final work until the two males had left. ((OOC: the fight can always continue, but I wanted to get some drama in here hehe)

Lilybreeze Lilybreeze shifted her body a bit just to get comfortible, as she stretched out one leg and brought it back towards her stomach. Her kit mewed in protest to a sudden move and she purred softly, looking down at them they seemed ready for a nap now that they have eaten. She could wait to gaze into their little eyes in a few days when it would fully open. Just as she predicted both kits curled up and fell asleep, with a soft sigh she was in a way glad that they had fallen asleep. She was sure tomarrow would bring more work when they would try to crawl around the nursery, and since she was the only one here they had a lot of room. Lily lifted her gaze to Wingedheart, smiling at one of her long time friends. She listened as she agreed on there appearance and nodded with her response.
"Sure, he's a great warrior and all, but we don't need any more narcissists in this clan. Hopefully, by the looks of them, they'll have your temperment too."
Lily again nodded in agreement to her dear friend. The kits both seemed to fragile and gentle to be anything like Dogshadow. Which was a good thing, after what she over heard. It was really bothering her that he might have really meant it, and to make sure it didn't happen she confided in Flamewhisker to sort of watch over her. Lily turned her attention back to Barkstar who was now watching her carefully. She kept her gaze calm and gave him a small but sweet smile as he walked towards her. Her tail curled nervously over her kits as he came around her. She would say he made her knees weak when he look at her like he did but she wasn't standing, which was good. Wingedheart as if planned turned and trotted out of the nursery. She was looked after her friend and giggled melodically. Turning she felt him against her neck and she turned to lock eyes with the tom cat. Purring softly as he started to speak and then, a loud stomping sound made her turn to the nursery entrance. Enter Dogshadow. And by the looks of it he was not taking the scene to well. Lily narrowed her gaze as he thrusted his way in and kept her kits close to her body so they would not be woken up by the rage that was about to follow, she was quite sure of it. Though she thought he had the decency to wait till everyone had left. To her surprise Barkstar stood before them, and her gaze widened in alarm. "Listen, Barkstar. Back off and do it now. I've seen the way you look at her, you gutless piece of miserable, cheating foxdung! You were never loyal, not once, and if you think you're getting close to Lilybreeze, then you're dead wrong!" What? The way he looked at her? Yea right he could never....she was nothing special just the friend. He had chosen Sandswallow, didn't he remember?! "Dogshadow have you lost your mind?! Barkstar couldn't possibly care about me in THAT way. He had chosen Sandswallow from the start..." he voice broke out into a slight yell and then softened into a more sulken tone as she thought about the day she had found out they were mates. It about broke her heart. "I was only ever loyal to Sandswallow, and to my clan, unlike some, I did what my family asked and served my clan, that's it." That just proved her point, he would always be loyal to her. He had a kit with her for crying out loud. Earthpaw. He could never love her, could he? When Barkstar shoved his face closer Lilybreeze felt her fur prickle and when Sunstorm pushed her way past them. She snapped at them and told them to take it outside and Lily looked up at Sunstorm with gratitude. This was ridiculous. "Can't we just forget about this, for the sleeping kits sake. And if I can't stop you two then like Sunstorm said, take it outside. But StarClan help me if you get hurt..." concern flashed in her eyes as she looked up at Barkstar instead of Dogshadow. Flicking her gaze away quickly to Dogshadow and narrowed it. "Just stop. We don't want bloodshed here... Lets just get the truth out now so you don't have to get all jealous. Barkstar you dont love me right?[/blockquote][/blockquote][/blockquote][/sub] (OCC: should i bring Earthpaw in? If he says anything to lily about loving her so he can hear it and get upset? or will we have a separate thread for that bark?)

Dogshadow was focused purely on Barkstar, with nothing else to deterr him. As far as he was concerned, Barkstar was in league with Wingedheart and that tom, Flamewhisker, who'd been unfaithful with his mate. That made Barkstar unfit for his position and Dogshadow had no qualms with challenging an unfit leader. He would have no problems with sinking his claws as far as he could into the treacherous piece of foxdung's pelt and ripping him apart, end to end, and to make it even better; he'd piss on the bleeding remains, just to put everything he had against the tom and his friends into perspective. The way Barkstar looked at Lilybreeze, when he thought no one else would notice, set Dogshadow's fur on end and it made him madder than anything ever had in his life, except for perhaps Flamewhisker's unfaithfulness. And, as soon as he pulled his claws out of Barkstar, Wingedheart would be the next to die. Slowly.
Dogshadow had been aching for a good kill. There wasn't a feeling like it, not one he could name, that was as good, as pure, as thrilling; as when he killed. The light dying down in their eyes, the feeling of power coursing through him, seeing the fear make them go stiff and choke on their breath as their lifeblood poured out; it was enough to drive anyone crazy, with the sense of power and tirany. And he didn't even do it for the rush, though that definitely helped. Dogshadow had killed those cats because of their unfaithfulness; they'd cheated on their mate like the filthy things they were and he had taken it upon himself to rid the world of such disgusting beings. He had darkened his own paws with their filthy blood, knowing that no one would ever recognize his service. He had done such good things and no one would ever know, not if he had anything to do with it. Dogshadow had to keep his deeds a secret, despite the fact that they were for the good of the Clan and the world, in general. He understood that no one would get what he had done, they didn't have the capacity to realize that those cats' deaths had been for the good of catkind. He knew this because he was really, the only one who understood just how sick and unhealthy those cats were. His dark and impassioned eyes alighted on Barkstar.
He'd rid the clans of this traitorous piece of slime-filled dung and then.. His eyes flicked past Barkstar for a single second and found Wingedheart standing at the edge of the den, staring in at him. The other traitor, Flamewhisker stood behind her but he spared no looks for him. He'd already ruined the tom's family, taking him out wouldn't be much of a problem. The fiery-colored tom would die too, but it was for the deputy that Dogshadow harbored a special passion, rivaled only by his hatred for Barkstar. Their eyes met for a moment and there was pure hatred, bloody and sickening with its intensity, in his eyes as he sent a clear message to her. You're next. She had been the only one smart enough to catch onto his scheme and now she thought she could interfere. He'd teach her a lesson and she'd never recover. He'd make her death even slower than Barkstar's, though pissing on her wouldn't satisfy the darkness growing within him. He would save that particular mess for the scum in front of him. With that, the murderer's eyes returned to Barkstar, in time to catch the tom's anger-filled words, which meant nothing to him. The tom didn't care that he'd been faithful when Sandswallow had been alive, because he knew that the leader wanted to cheat now and that made him mincemeat. He started to reply, but Sunstorm stormed past and he bared his teeth at her, agitated, and only made worse when Lilybreeze ganged up on him as well.
Anger spasmed through him, stronger than ever, as he snarled at them all. Even Lilybreeze, his precious mate, was turning against him! He hissed at her, saying, "Of course he doesn't love you, she-cat! He's too filthy for that, lusting is all that runs in him!" He spat at Barkstar, hearing his last words, and informing him, enraged, "This piece of rotting crowfood is going to be the death of you, Barkstar!" He whirled around and stalked out of the den, turned, shoving Wingedheart out of the way with a hateful glance and yowled his challenge, "Come on then, leader, let's see if you can follow your words with actions. After all, actions speak louder than words, which is how I know what kind of disgusting freak and cheating scumbag that you are!" He ignored Wingedheart's hiss, deciding that she was a she-cat and wouldn't bother them yet; she was probably too scared to do anything and right now, he was concentrating on taking Barkstar apart, limb by limb. He'd do it in front of the entire clan too. "I'm doing this for you, Lilybreeze. You and our kits. This way, they'll stay ours."
~~
Wingedheart's stomach clenched with anxiety as she stared into the gloom of the den. This wasn't good, not at all. She told herself, sweat breaking out all over as she felt the emotions escalate, and the temperature rise with the tempers. Stupid, stupid! I should've taken care of him before this! Now he's got the reins and he isn't letting go! She bit her lip, trying to figure out what was going on without barging in there and upsetting Dogshadow more. He looked like he was about to lose it and she didn't want him to unleash his rage when so near to her friend and her kits. It was his nearness to Barkstar, Lilybreeze, the kits, and Sunstorm that was making her so nervous. If only it were just the two of them! Then she could rid her clan of this murdering creature. He would never harm another soul, Lilybreeze would be safe to pursue whatever she wanted, and the rather suspicious thing going on between her two close friends wouldn't have to be hidden. And.. Wingedheart's eyes closed. She could avenge Flamewhisker's mate. There was no doubt in her mind. She'd readily take on the consequence of murdering a cat if it only meant that Flamewhisker's pain would be avenged and Barkstar wouldn't have to do it herself. She would take that suffering upon herself. Starclan, please. Don't let them agonize anymore. Let me take this on myself! Please! Lilybreeze deserves to be happy, Barkstar deserves to remain leader, Dovesong should be avenged, and.. and Flamewhisker should never find out about this whole thing. I want him to be safe and completely unaware. If I could just shelter him from all of this, then I would.
The tom himself appeared next to her and she jumped half a foot, yelping, before she realized who it was and quickly sheathed her claws. Flamewhisker looked like he knew what was going on and she gazed at him, feeling a sweep of emotions move through her before looking back into the den and wishing she could just do something. Flamewhisker's question sounded and she quickly nodded, looking back at him and wondering just what he was aware of. Hopefully, nothing. "Yeah.. And they look nothing like Dogshadow." She meowed tersely and then sighed. "Sorry. Something's going on and I can't-" The huge black and white came blasting out, nearly knocking her over. The she-cat was barely half his size and was almost bowled over, snarling her protest before she realized they were taking their fight into the clearing. Foxdung! "Can't let this happen.." She gritted, watching the two of them. Starclan, help me to do the right thing!
OOC; He's one sick puppy. o.o -has created a monster- I'll wait until the next post to have Winged move, I 'spose. =P

"Dogshadow have you lost your mind?! Barkstar couldn't possibly care about me in THAT way. He had chosen Sandswallow from the start..." As soon as Lilybreeze's comment reached his ears, the tom couldn't help the agonizing clenching of his heart that followed such a strong-said thought. How could she even think that? That he'd wanted such a bossy, strict she-cat for a mate? He wanted right there and then to go over to her and spll out the truth, that he'd never loved the ginger she-cat, that he was only mates with her because it was his family's choice, but at the same time, this only fueled his anger. Teeth clenched together, bright blue gaze as cold as ice, he refused to step down, meeting the black and white tom's hard gaze full on. "Barkstar, I'm ashamed. I don't know what happened, but both of you immature kits can take your egotistical hides outside to settle this. There are newborn kits in here, and I'll be damned to Dark Forest if they don't get their proper care. That means taking your claws and fangs outside."

He heard Lilybreeze perfectly well, of course he did, as even when his emotions were boiling this strong, her voice was always there, always a voice of reason for these rare moments when he was intent of fighting. He didn't answer anyone though, his icy gaze locked on Dogshadow's. He didn't move, although he wanted to yowl at Sunstorm for being so blind for a medicine cat that she hadn't even noticed what this tom was doing to his best friend, and well, what he wanted to say to Lilybreeze he'd wanted to say for a while. But he didn't, he just stood there, not accepting anything, but not denying anything either. Who was he to lie?
"Of course he doesn't love you, she-cat! He's too filthy for that, lusting is all that runs in him! This piece of rotting crowfood is going to be the death of you, Barkstar! Come on then, leader, let's see if you can follow your words with actions. After all, actions speak louder than words, which is how I know what kind of disgusting freak and cheating..." Barkstar didn't pause to listen to the rest of what the tom was yelling at him, as his tabby fur was on end and before the tom could finish his insults, he shot out from the nursery, claws unsheathed and his ears flat against his head. "I'll show you who the rotten piece of foxdung here is!" he spat just before he touched the huge tom's chest with his sharp claws and powerful lunge.

He hadn't meant to scare her this time, and the way she jumped only showed in his book just how hard she was concentrating on whatever was going on. His cuiousity was caught by the medicine cat as she stormed through the entrance and yelled in a muffled voice at the two toms inside. "Yeah.. And they look nothing like Dogshadow." Looking back at Wingedheart, he could see the concern etched across her face and with his heart clenching slightly, he went to offer her some words of support, but she spoke up before he could. "Sorry. Something's going on and I can't-" Suddenly Dogshadow's huge form blew out of the nursery entrance as blinking with surprise, he stepped back in time before the tom almost barreled into Wingedheart.
He was at her side, making sure she'd remained on her paws as he stood upright, his ears pinned against his skull in pure anger. What in StarClan's name was going on? "Can't let this happen.." Glancing at Wingedheart he found himself standing in front of her slightly as Barkstar charged across the clearing and almost into Dogshadow. The black tom must've agrivated the leade rin some point, because this was not going to end nicely, and after what Lilybreeze had told him, he wasn't too keen to see the whole thing acted out, or for Wingedheart to be anywhere near the fighting toms.

Cinderkit had been perfectly happy. These strange new smells entered. He liked them both. They smelled like his mother but different. In fact, he like everything he had smelled so far, since that was his only form of sight right now, except for one smell. It was almost like the others, but it had a nasty underlining smell, which he would later learn was what dead smelled like. He only could have smelled this now, as a kit, since this was when his scene of smell was the highest. He strongly disliked this other scent and unconsciously took the other male that he had smelled, as his father.
He sensed a commotion. Something was going on, scents had a new smells mixed in, anger, and fear, coming from his mother. His mother shifted and he mewed a slight compliant. Not one with words of course, since he knew none, but it was still a compliant. Tension was building, he could feel it. He felt safe by his mother though, and he fell asleep.
Anger! I rolled over him like a wave. He had only been asleep a short time, but something was happening. What was wrong? His mother seemed upset! So did the nasty smelling cat and the cat he though was his father. What was happening? Cinderkit started squirming. He mewed his complaints. He wanted to know what was happening!
The two males left, fury in their scents. Would the nice smelling one come back with out hurts? Would the nice smelling she-cat that returned to the nursery stay here? Or would she leave too? WHAT WAS GOING ON? Cinderkit was now very agitated, he mewed wordless noises and squrimed.
OOC: I just had too do a kits piont of view on this >.<
Oh no! Cinderkit thinks Barkstar is his dad! (I just had to do that)
