[/sub]{ frame & body }
The first thing you notice about the ThunderClan she-cat is her lean, slender frame. Muscles do, in fact, ripple under that dark sheet that is her pelt, but she just comes across as a cat that can run better than she can fight. However, do not be fooled. Nettleshade can fight as well as she can run. She doesn't look too muscled at a glance, but looks can deceive. Her shoulders are well grafted, arched and graceful. She is a pretty graceful, elegant cat when she walks, as well. The she-cat has long legs, which of course help her elegance and grace, and this trait seems to run in the family - for that is where her sister got her name. Her tail is long and slightly feathery, and her paws are small and delicate.{ pelt }
This is where the ThunderClan she-cat's warrior name comes from - the 'shade' part represents her midnight-dark fur. In fact, her pelt is rather stunning, a jet dark, inky black, the colour that could only bring to mind a night sky. Her fur is short and bristly, but gets more feathery as it runs down to her tail and when it runs up her neck towards her head. Also, when it trails down her legs and paws. The fluff of her paws hides thorn-sharp claws that can inflict some nasty damage. If you look very closely at Nettleshade's fur, you will distinctly note a slightly blue sheen. This makes her pelt even more glorious to have in sight.{ eyes & facial }
Nettleshade has the most beautiful eyes. A rich and memorizing fresh green in tone, reminding one of the spicy leaves of newleaf, or even just the landscape of this fresh season. Nettleshade got the first part of her name from her eyes, as green as the nettle leaves that dot around the forest in small clumps. Nettleshade has tall, acute ears and a neat black nose. Long white whiskers decorate each side of her face. All in all, she is a beautiful cat. But, no one's perfect, and she is no exception.
WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
[/sub]{ independent }
Over most aspects of her personality, Nettleshade is independent. She doesn't rely on her clan for everything, and doesn't expect them to care for her when she is old and too weak to fend for herself, though she knows they will anyway. Nightshade will always stand up for herself, and hates it when others protect her, though this is a bit hypocritical, and she is protective over others herself. Nightshade never shows weakness and makes sure of this, though she is not so prideful that she displays stupidity.{ motherly }
Nettleshade has that loving, caring side of her that displays how good a mother she will make. She doesn't yet have kits, but she absolutely loves them and wants her own one day, with a loving mate to father them. It is her life's ambition - she wants nothing of that 'I'll be the best leader ever' foxdung, and never was like that. Her brother was always the ambitious one. Even though she doesn't have kits of her own just yet, Nettleshade always acts caring and motherly towards apprentices and kits anyway.{ protective }
This trait ties in with the previous quite a bit. A mother is protective over her kits, and Nettleshade is protective over any one of her friends or family. She will stand up for them, but understands that some cats are like her - independent, and therefore do not need another cat standing up for them. She gives them their space, but she will snap and react harshly if another warrior criticizes her clan or makes a mean comment. She'll even get involved if members of the clan fight amongst themselves.{ carefree }
One of the best things about Nettleshade is how she never cares what others think of her. She is usually free spirited and happy, caring nothing for some stupid, ignorant grumpy old cats. Nettleshade has carefully balanced traits. Though she is happy like this a lot of the time, her anger can suddenly fire off if you are not aware enough. The she-cat when she is carefree is quite a splendid sight - its when she feels so relaxed that she couldn't care a mousetail.{ grudge holder }
This is one of her greatest flaws. Nettleshade is always careful who she trusts. She doesn't tell her secrets to anyone, except maybe her most trusted allies. However, if some cat ever betrays her, all hell breaks loose within her. She will feel betrayed for a long while after, and will act lost and suspicious around anyone. She's been that way before. If you ever hurt her, there's a good chance she will never speak to you again. She holds enormous grudges, and holds them for the rest of her life. She doesn't forgive, and doesn't forget. It's simple, in her eyes.

The WillowClan leader drifted further and further into sleep, and her whole body relaxed, a mound of gray fur stretched over the nest of moss. She breathed in and out softly, slumber filling her sensing and mind slowing down. The only movement of the she-cat was the breathing, and the slight twitch of her long tail as sleep took her over.
Batstar opened wide yellow eyes suddenly, and was all at once confused. At first she thought that she was still awake, but she remembered dropping off to sleep. I'm dreaming, right? She asked herself, and was positive that she was. Her muscles felt tense and tight, as though they were waiting to run through the forest at top speed and not look back. She didn't feel in the least bit tired, either. Not like she had when she had fallen asleep - she had been exhausted.
So that settles it. I must be dreaming.
The ashen she-cat slowly got to her paws, wide orbs narrowing slightly as she realised she was in a slightly different surrounding. She didn't know if she was still in her den, but she couldn't recall it being so large. And there was a scent on the breeze that she didn't recognize. A smooth but unpleasant tang that made the back of her throat itch. Shaking her fur, she looked around a bit more, and it wasn't until she looked straight ahead of her that she spotted a motionless figure staring straight at her. Dark orange eyes pierced her own yellow ones, and Batstar was all at once on her guard. The darkness of the cats pelt spooked her a little, but she soon relaxed when she noticed the tiny sparks of light - stars, she supposed - that were entangled in the dark midst of fur.
"H...hello?" She asked cautiously, and watched the newcomer curiously, waiting for her to speak.
