So much was happening, so much was going on. What would it all lead up to? What was happening? Where were they going to end up? So many thoughts, all circling in his mind, were there methods to this madness? Was there a reason for this? First the river had turned bad, and now…it hurt just to think about it. He had been planning to ask Barkstar for the time being if RiverClan could shelter on ThunderClan land, but something, something about Dogstar made him very nervous, a deep feeling of unease running through the tom just as he thought about the other cat. Ears flattening against his skull, tail lashing slightly, all the circling and repeating thoughts were bound to give him a headache, again. He had come here to /relax/ and get his mind /off/ of clan duties. And it seemed being out here alone was only making his thoughts that much more pronounced. Oh, yeah, clan life was sure great, wasn’t it? At least he was able to keep the rest of his clan in the dark about what was going on; that alone gave him at least some reason to push on. Sometimes though—in his weaker moments—the tom wished that he could simply…give up.
No. He couldn’t give up. He just couldn’t…could he? No. He couldn’t. Not now, not ever, unless you know he fell into the depths of insanity. That would always be a fun fall. His sanity wasn’t questionable though, so it seemed he wasn’t going to be doing that anytime soon. Damn; so much for his vacation. Sighing softly, rolling his eyes for a moment or so, the tom hopped onto one of the rocks in the sun, letting the soft rays warm his pelt, and seemingly, down to his very core. Sitting down on one of the rocks, Eclipsestar’s ears slowly pulled away from his skull, eventually swiveling up so they kept track of all the sounds around him. Sitting in silence seemed to be the best idea at the moment. As long as he could keep his mind distracted, oh there was a hard task hah, maybe he would be able to slip back into one of his lighter moods, wouldn’t that be nice?
Sighing to himself, the tom shook his head, smoky colored, almost purple really, pelt soaking up the warmth of the sunlight. It was so nice right now, what would it take for him to be able to actually relax in the sun? He had cats taking care of things, now why couldn’t he just /relax/? Moodily dropping his head down onto his paws, the smoky-almost-purple colored tom cast his gaze out to the river, the cause of most of his stress, and sighed. Green eyes watching the water, he was almost caught in his memories, and that simply couldn’t be allowed. Gradually though, in combination of the sunlight beating down onto his pelt, and the gentle murmur of the river from his memories, it made the tom gradually relax, unwind, but not fall asleep. No. Sleep was just another fleeting memory for the cat.
Of course, this moment of peace wouldn't last long, now would it?

Harmonypaw walked slowly through RiverClan territory. Her cream colored fur glistened like fresh milk when the sunlight touched it. Her icy blue optics glistened rather dully as she let her mind mull over everything that was happening. The waters were poisoned and cats were falling ill, some even dying because of the tainted prey. The lan was going hungry and they couldn't turn to ThunderClan now with Dogstar leading them, something about the large tom cat ade her shiver. The result of this famine was that many cats would result to stealing if nothing was done, but perhaps all was not lost? There were two other clans that may help the starving river cats, ShadowClan? Her nose wrinkled at the though of toad and rats, the occasional magpies and crows. It was absolutly revolting, and plus it was to dark and closed in for her taste. There was WindClan, they had pretty good amounts of prey this year, plus that had a stream that carried some fish through it. Maybe if they spoke with Ashstar he would allow them passage for the time being? It was worth a try, anything was better than berries and skinny mice.
Flicking her ears forward she could hear the river flowing off to her side. Her head slowly tilted towards the rushing water, all of the memories of Silvercloud's death rushed through her mind like the river itself. She shuttered and closed her eyes, but it only made it more visual in her mind, shaking her head the visions slowly blurred and faded into darkness. When she then opened her eyes a tear fell out of each eye, and a sadness rushed over her. Would she ever get over her past mentors death? Turning she continued on her way through the territory following a path that lead away from the river. That river meant death and maybe Silvercloud was a warning to that. Another chill went through her spine and she took a deep breath to calm herself down. Feeling her rame slightly relax she picked up her pace just a bit into a brisk trot. The movement actually helped a bit and she could feel her sadness beng blow off her fur like a leaf blown off a tree. Stopping she heard movement not far off, turning her gaze int he direction of sunning rocks she slowly made her way to it.
Pushing her way through she noticed Eclipsestar laying in the grass. Fear gripped her chest but she pushed bad thoughts back into her head. He was fine, right? When she walked a little closer she could see his breathing was even and relaxed completly. She felt bad about disturbing him, but she was already close to him and it would be stupid to turn back now. She couldn't imagine the stress the leader was under beause of the river problems and hunger they were facing, maybe she could help in some way. Stopping before the grey tom cat, the fourteen mooned appretnice blinked softly down on him. "Eclipsestar? Are you alright, I couldn't imagine the pressure your under."
she mewed softly and lowered her icy gaze on his covered face. Sitting down she swiped her creamy tail over her paws and tucking it in. Shifting a bit she wet her lips with her tongue quickly before continuing. "Perhaps WindClan may agree to help us? They have enough prey this time a year and wide open spaces, clean waters and streams that some fish swim through."[/color] she continued keep her voice calm and level to show she was trying to help things.
