THIS IS OUTTA CONTROL Why Can't I Ever Get It Though? Damn, Why Can't I Ever Get It Though?
It was dawn, and Francis was at his wit's end. This was foreign territory to him, and once again, he had to wonder how he'd managed to find his way here. Unpleasant memories made their way to the tom's head as he recalled his rendezvous with disaster. He shook his head to clear his mind, and set his emerald eyes straight ahead of him. If he was indeed in unknown territory, then he needed to be on alert. Already, he'd smelled the scent of wild cats, and having dealt with everything from dogs to lynxes, Francis knew that he needed to stay sharp... not that that was a huge challenge for him. This particular tom had a bit of a reputation for being the 'cleverest bastard' around, as his good friend, Bluebeard called him. A purr of amusement escaped his maw as he thought back to his friend that he'd left at the Twoleg town. He was crippled, but in no way was he discouraged from life because of it. Bluebeard was perhaps the toughest cat he knew... with a vulgar and obscene tongue to boot.
A rustling in the undergrowth promptly cut off Francis' thoughts however, and immediately, the tom whipped around towards the sound, ears pricked in alertness....
Nothing....
Wearily, Francis continued along, tasting the air for any signs of brother or sister cats. Deeper he went into the pine forest, his tail swishing behind him gently as he shifted his gaze around. Something... no someone was stalking him. The mere thought made Francis' fur fluff out and a chill roll down his spine. He hated the feeling of others watching him. After his very first mystery, where he was completely unaware that the enemy was watching his every move, and manipulating him, he was paranoid of the same thing happening. In the back of his mind though, Francis could not imagine another cat as horrible... corrupted as the one he met. Pascal....
You were once innocent. I once thought of you as my brother, he thought solemnly. Even I cannot condemn you to a life in hell. It was not your fault that you lost your innocence...
And then, another rustling sounded, this time much closer to him. Francis hissed, stopping in one spot, "Brother or sister! I know you are there! Please, reveal yourself!"

B R O W Nw h i s p e r who i am FOUR. ZERO. ZERO. brownwhisper & francis Brother or sister! I know you are there! Please, reveal yourself! 'What the devils? I'm not related to him.' She had been following this tom since he had took the chance and had made the mistake of being to easy to scent. The she-cat's squirrel dangled in her jaws as she stared from the brushes. Dropping the creature, her shy nature keeping her hidden from the time being. Her claws itched to send the intruder off, but something held her off. Of course, she would never hurt a injured cat, nor would she kill a cat that did not know of the warrior's code, unless she need to. 'Bloody hell, I can't believe he called me a brother or a sister. Who, dare I say it, is he?' Whiskers twitched with fright and... dare she admint it, excitment. Her curiosity was winning over her mind slowly as she bent her head to, rustling the branches of the brush even more. Her soft voice rang through her head, and slipped through her lips before she stopped it. Why?
Her eyes were soft and gentle as she stepped from the brush, her squirrel dangling between her teeth now. She carried it a mother would carry her kit, gentle and yet firm. Dropping the catch at her paws, her small frame made it so she had to tilt her head slightly to meet his eyes. Eery silence. A silence that rattled her bones as she blinked up at him, her eyes wide, curious, and yet shy soft. Her voice was barely a whisper. Why are you on my clan's territory? Her nose twitched, the only movement that gave away that she was anything but calm. Her eyes as well, giving a light that certainly would of scared a small kit, if she was ever really like that. "Care to explain?" Her soft voice had a hidden threat behind them. Her eyes no longer held there soft nature, but a strong emotion, as if she saw this polite tom as a threat. I'm Brownwhisper by the way. She added, her eyes looking from place to place and finally landing on the tom. Behind her kind words was a thick hatred for the tresspasser. Unless he proved himself usefull, she might as well just turn him into crowfood and leave him for her clan to fix. Just Great.

DON'T FRET PRECIOUS I'M HERE, Step Away From The Window Go Back To Sleep....
Thankfully, the feline in question appeared before Francis in a matter of moments after he'd called out to her. Quietly, the tom scanned his eyes over Brownwhisper, taking in everything about her: her distinct smell, her pelt, her grace, her eyes, the way her tail swished ever so lightly at his presence, and then her ever so lovely voice, questioning why he was trespassing on her territory.
No, her clan's territory.
Immediately, Francis was struck with the illness that made him... himself. 'Clever Bastard Francis' as he was called, or even 'Sherlock' in some cases.... this cat was a mystery solver, always looking for new things to store in his ever intelligent brain. In a few quick moments of analysis, Francis confirmed that she was a wild cat that lived in a group setting, one she called 'a Clan'.
This was not the first time Francis had dealt with a cat of this sort. Old, fond memories came to him of when he was younger. Oh the days he'd ventured away from Gustav, his obese owner, and ran into the Wild Ones. A dark secret had loomed around their very existence... one that Francis was sure Brownwhisper, as she called herself, was not a part of. She was not of the same species as those wild cats after all....
Though admittedly, Francis was just as infatuated with her as the graceful Wild Ones. Brownwhisper radiated with beauty, and Francis respected that, and her already, for her sense of responsibility to whatever Clan she was a part of.
"Sorry sister," he started, dipping his head politely. "I was just exploring. I'm a wanderer of sorts... well known in some places, and unknown in others, but you can just call me Francis if you wish. Tell me, if my presence isn't wanted, why is it that you don't seem upset or aggressive towards me? I am unaware of clans and the rules that the Felidae of your group follow, but I am curious. You're kind are quite famous around the housepets anyway. I couldn't help but fuel my intellect."
Francis chuckled, wondering if he said too much of a mouthful. A purr of amusement erupted from his throat as he sat down and wrapped his tail around his feet. "In any case, I am quite pleased to meet you Brownwhisper. It has been a long time since I found a fellow sister as beautiful and graceful as yourself!"
JUST STAY WITH ME Safe And Ignorant....
((OOC: XD, he's a weird cat. And a flirt. But he's a good guy ))

B R O W Nw h i s p e r who i am THREE.THREE.SIX brownwhisper & francis 'Sorry Sister' Brownwhisper nodded, accepting it respectfully. 'It's okay.'
[/s]She whispered softly. 'I was just exploring. I'm a wanderer of sorts... well known in some places, and unknown in others, but you can just call me Francis, if you wish. Tell me, if my presence isn't wanted, why is it that you don't seem upset or aggressive towards me? I am unaware of the clans and the rules that the Felidae of your group follow, but I am curious. You're kind are quite famous around the housepets anyway. I couldn't help but fuel my intellect.' She nodded ponding on what she was about to reply to his question when he chuckled. Startled by the pure laughter she shook her head in hidden amusement. Then he sat down and began to speak again. 'In any case, I am quite pleased to meet you Brownwhisper. It has been a long time since I found a fellow sister as beautiful and graceful as yourself!' She felt her ears growing hot. "Well actually, I, um," Her voice trailed off. "It's nice to meet you Francis, if there are any rules from the warrior code you need to know, I'll gladly tell you, if it keeps from someone dying." It was just her, she was to sweet for her own good. She bit her lower lip in thought as she sat down, squirrel firmly between her two paws. Eyes off into the sky, but her ears were pointed towards the loner. "I am aware that we are famous around the housepets, I know what they say about us, I used to say it to as a kit." She pondered as she turned her eyes back on the tom's. "I'm supposed to challange you, but if you'll be so kind as to step over the stream, I won't have to." She nodded in silent respect, giving him a single chance to move before she took her anger out on him.[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]
