CAN YOU GO INTO MORE DETAIL PLEASE
At a first glance, Jadeclaw is a pretty average looking cat. His pelt is a dark gray-black color, the one exception being his front left paw, which is adorned with a eggshell-white sock. The fur itself is sleek and smooth, but not exactly ideal for harsh winters. However, Jadeclaw's sheer size makes up for his lack of long fur. He is a rather big cat for his age, and well built, his muscles clearly rippling underneath his fur.[/sub]
Jadeclaw's eyes are a bright yellow-gold color, and deeply contrast with the darkness of his pelt. His maw has a set of wiry, black, stalky whiskers, and his nose is a dark toned pink. His claws are raven black, and shine brightly, as Jadeclaw is a stickler about keeping himself, especially his claws, clean (he thinks it makes him look more menacing).
Jadeclaw's name, as you might have guessed, refers to the strangest part about this feline: his eyes are the color of the gemstone he is named after, but only in moonhigh light.
WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
Jadeclaw is a rather serious cat, despite his young age. He takes all of his duties seriously, and learns and excels extremely quickly after only a few times of demonstration. That said, if the same thing is being taught to him over and over again, Jadeclaw quickly loses all interest, and may become irritable and smart-alacky. This also goes with repeating himself. He does not like to tell anyone things twice, and oftentimes this gives the illusion that Jadeclaw is impatient.[/sub]
Jadeclaw has a very strong sense of justice, but sometimes acts rash to do what he thinks is right. Oftentimes he will run into the heat of battle or snap at a rival cat or clan to protect others close to him before seeing the entirety of the situation. This makes him an ideal leader for a definite fight, but not for patrolling.
Despite all of this, Jadeclaw is still just a young cat. As much as he tries to be serious all the time, there are moments where he likes to kick back and let his more playful side take over, though he'll usually shows this side through vigorous running, swimming, or battle practice.
Jadeclaw, being a mostly serious cat, cannot stand kits that try to bother him. Though he is obviously not much older then the small creatures, he believes his intellect and age puts him above the youngsters. Jadeclaw can also not stand humans. He thinks they are vile, cruel creatures and goes out of his way to bash kittypets if he sees them.
YOUR FAMILY TREE
Jadeclaw started his life at a human animal shelter, where he had only one family member: his mother. Born to a pure black she-cat, Jadeclaw was the only one of his litter to survive, allowing him to hog his mother's milk and grow strong very quickly. Eventually, the shelter was closed down, and Jadeclaw managed to escape and stumble across Riverclan.[/sub]

Jade knew nothing of where he was going, and really, he did not care. Everything was a white and green blur as he made his way through the undergrowth and snow, trying to get away from the horrors that the twolegs had almost inflicted on him. He did not want to meet the same fate as his mother, whatever it was....
On the young cat ran, his paws aching from what felt like miles upon miles of running. His soft pawpads were not used to such rough ground, and had started bleeding some time ago, leaving crimson tracks in the ice. The only thing keeping Jade going through the pain and cold was his fear. The twolegs could be after him....
"I will not die," he reminded himself.
With the sound of his own voice ringing in his ears, the dark colored cat moved on, still leaving a trail of blood in his wake. Each pawstep seemed to get heavier and heavier as fatigue finally started to catch up with him. He was not made for this; he had lived on the inside of a cage his entire life, his mother by his side for most of it.
And now she was gone.
Sorrow gripped the young cat's heart as he forced himself to trudge on once again, this time more slowly. His paws eventually became numb as the cold gripped at him tightly, sending shivers down his spine. One more step, he kept telling himself. And it worked... for a little while. Eventually Jade fell to the snow, whimpering and crying.
"I-I'm sorry mother. I guess I'll be joining you after all," he muttered, his teeth chattering from the freeze that he was so unused to. "B-because surely the t-twolegs are going to find me."
Or I'll freeze to death, his mind added on. Jade let out aloud mew as a last ditch effort to save his young life. Perhaps someone would take pity on him, and rescue his hide from the cold freeze, and maybe even bind the cuts on his paws shut. Another mew, and another, and finally, one last one as a gust of wind rose, carrying the cry out ahead of him....
"P-perhaps I was doomed to fail from the start," he said as his eyes started to shut.
Jade could feel his life slipping away from him slowly, but he struggled to hang onto his frail life. He was not ready to meet death and join the felines trapped in the stars as his mother had described to him in bedtime stories. In his mind though, he started to lose hope, especially when he started to become weightless.... almost as if he was floating. No... more like being carried. Was his mother carrying him into death's sweet arms?
Warmth from below him started to rouse Jade again, and it was then that he realized he was not dying. In fact, it was quite the opposite. A larger cat was carrying him, hopefully to shelter. Jade opened his maw to try and speak, but no words came out. What could he really say at a time like this? "Let me go?" He needed the help. He was not a very egotistical cat, thankfully, but he was a bit annoyed at the fact that he would have to repay this cat later. It was one of the only things his mother had engraved in his mind: if you are indebted to someone, repay it with double the good intentions.
The larger tom placed Jade in a nest and stared down at the young cat, his eyes filled with worry."You will be okay won't you?"
Jade lifted his gaze to Sagestar. He seemed to be very kind, especially to go out of his way to save the likes of him. Repaying him would take a very long time. Perhaps a lifetime. Besides, what was more important then a life? Perhaps another one, but aside from that, nothing.
"I'll be okay," Jade replied weakly. "Thank you for saving me."
But by the time he actually uttered his thank you, Sagestar was already gone. Jade's head snapped up. Where had he gone? He tasted the air to find the smell of two cats outside, and one smelled of hostility. Now, Jade was not a fighter, but he would protect Sagestar even in his weak state. He felt it was his obligation.
Shakily, the young tom got to his four and stumbled out of the den. Cold once again greeted his body. Jade shook off the bits of snow that clung to his thin pelt, and looked around the clearing to try and locate the scent of the two cats. Again, Jade tasted the air, only this time a third cat made its way into his senses. Sure enough, Sagestar was up ahead of him, an aggressive cat mirrored to him. Off in the distance, Hawkfur approached the camp.
"Stop," the hostile cat growled. "What are you doing on my land?"
Jade ignored his fatigue and rushed forward, letting out a hiss as he came to stand in front of Sagestar, "Back off! Don't even think of attacking this tom! You'll have to go through me first!"
Jade hissed again, aware that the cat before him was far superior in size and probably battle skill as well. But that didn't matter to the young cat. He was pretty much fearless, when the time called for it.
