Spottedpelt padded through the forest, her frustration on others had exploded in her face. All the Tayla name calling had become to much for her, she unnaturally let her anger get a hold of her and well... things at camp ended horribly. She had attacked a tom in her camp. Spottedpelt hadnt hurt him but she sure wished she had. All she wanted was for the cats to accept her. It had been seasons since she joined and still some of her clanmates wouldnt let her live it down.

Spottedpelt padded to the tiny stream near the Windclan border. She needed serious cool off time, alone. The stream was perfect, it would allow her to relax, think, and listen the the sound of nature. She lapped up a few drops. She began to groom her ruffled fur, she continued until her fur was silky soft, smooth and shinny. Suddenly she heard russling of leaves not far to her left. Spottedpelt crouched down low, she couldnt smell anything. "Hello?" she asked. "Whose there! show yourself"

.XxX.Paws meet ground as the tom trespassed over Thunderclan's territory, just looking for enjoyment, maybe just to see what bad news it would bring later in the days to come. "Hello?" A voice entered his ears as he turned his blue eyes onto the figure in the small disance. "Whose there! show yourself!" The voice was demanding and as the tom edged closer he gave a throaty groan. "Not the kitty-pet." He meowed rather low so the she-cat would not hear him, looking back to where he had just been stalking a rather large mouse. His scent of course, was a dead giveaway, although he tryed to hide the fact that he was curious how the she-cat had manged to pick up his scent when he had made sure to roll in wet mushrooms. Then again, those didn't keep his scent hidden for long. Eyes glazing over the spotted she-cat, he studied her for a moment, she her crouched down and looking in his direction. She held a pelt of a golden brown, tabby and yet not. His eyes narrowed however when he finally notice that she was infact that worthless tom's sister. 'Yes I remember now.' He rolled his eyes. Poisoncry wasn't much to bother with, the tom left Thornmask alone, and Thornmask left Poisoncry alone.

.XxX.'I wonder if she get's mad as easily as Yellowthorn?' His paws twitched with excitment, but it was clear on his face, that he was nothing else but pained. 'Go speak to her...' His inner voice. Wow it had been a while. "Now why," He meowed loudly, as he leaped into the tree closest to her, as quickly as possible, scrabbling just the tinyest. "Would I do that?" His inner voice chuckled slightly, trying to drive him to the she-cat to pick at her. Then he choose to do the one thing he loved to do in trees. Fly. Jumping from the tree as if he was going to take off as a bird he came crashing down into the stream and before he knew it, was standing on his feet, fur soaking wet and his eyes tired looking. "Damn it." He hissed under his breath as he looked up to see it the bengaled she-cat had turned to face him now. He knew he musted of looked like a drowned rat.

i just can't walk this road anymore. it burns when I take a step, and the paw steps i leave behind ain't something i want to remember.

_{Spottedpelt jumped at the sound of a loud splash behind her! She spun around, stairing right into the face of a tortishell tom. Seeing the tom soaking wet and growling to himself, it made her smile. She couldnt help it, he looked like a drown rat!! Spottedpelt sat down, looking at him. a smile played on her lips. "Well, you sure are one ugly bird." she purred in amusement. she smelled no clan scent on him. 'he must be a loner or a rogue' she thought to herself. "i think Thunderclan will survive without you!!" she laughed, flicking the toms ears playfully with her tail. Spottedpelt knew that she was suppose to chase the tom off of her clans territory, whether he was a clan cat or not. He could be a potental threat, or steal prey, blah blah blah. She didnt think looked like a dangerous threat. In fact, in the state he was in at the moment, he looked like the least dangerous thing there was.
The sun shone on his speckled wet coat, making it shine brightly. The tom eyes shone deeply with many emotions, mixing and swirling in the deep blue orbs. Suddenly a spark of worry flickered in her mind and chest. It was new leaf and still quite cold out! She surely didnt wish for the cat to freeze in the cool stream water. Spottedpelt wasnt sure why she cared, but she did. She let out a small sigh hoping he hadnt heard it. If he had he didnt seem to show any reconition that he heard. "You really should get out of the water. Unless you plan on being a cold, wet, fish! Beware though Riverclan might catch you..." she laughed the stepped away from the edge of the water so he could walk out.}

.XxX.'I am not an ugly thing.' His slick wet fur felt heavy on his skin as he glared at the she-cat with a black expression. Then she had the nerve to... to... touch him. 'Hehe, tempered Thornmask,' His mind yowled at him happily. His eyes narrowed as she told him what he should do. "Do I look like I should listen to a unworthy warrior such as your self..." His lips were a straight firm line. His tongue stuck between his two sets of fangs. He sighed more to himself and stepped out shaking his fur, great just, great. He his scent coverage would vanish as his pelt dryed, so he might as well get it over with. "Poisoncry's sister correct?" He raised a slim furry eyebrow and licked his lips as he shook his pelt, rather then lick it. A small scratch on his shoulder where he had landed. 'Great, Phantomriddle is just gonna love me.' Nose wiggling, he sneezed and whipped his nose with his paw. 'I better not get a cold, or... I'll rip her pelt off.' His eyes narrowed as he studied her. "You have no idea who I am do you, now?"

**Spottedpelt was slightly confused by the glares the tom was shooting at her. She was only tring to help him. She didnt want him to freeze!!

"Do I look like I should listen to a unworthy warrior such as your self..."

**The toms words stung a bit, but she was used the the name calling. Of course she didnt really know how this cat could possibly know of her kittypet origins.

"Poisoncry's sister correct?"

**Spottedpelts eyes widened and her jaw dropped slightly. "how did you...." she couldnt quite spit out the words. 'how could this tom possibly know about Poisoncry.... or the fact that im his sister...' the tom was starting to weird her out. Spottedpelt started to take another lap of water from the stream when the tom said something, she hadnt quite heard what he had said the first time. But she heard it the second.

"Thornmask... warrior of Shadowclan."

**Spottedpelt coughed up water, as it went down. 'ShadowClan!!!!' she screamed in her head. She took a deep wiff of the air around her, but ShadowClans scent didnt hit her nose, not once. She spun hissing at him, her eyes burned with anger, and her blood boiled with fury. Spottedpelt did not understand why she was so upset.
"You didnt tell me this before?" she hissed, her anger from early was still there, it only fueled this burning fire. "you know? i really should have just let you freeze there!! not that you seem to care much." she hissed hatefully. Spottedpelt paced around, finally she took a deep breathe, sat down, and closed her eyes. She had to get a grip, she never let the anger get to her until recently. She sighed, and opened her silver orbs meeting the tom blue pools.

Rolling his eyes, Thornmask just shook his pelt again, and left the she-cat to wonder what he was going to say. "I'm here, because I can be," His smirk was deep and even along the muzzle and on his face. "There are rules, but hey rules are made to be broken just like promises and hearts." His tail lashed against the ground as he sat himself right on down and took a deep breath before lapping at his chest fur himself. He was enjoying the time he was here. He enjoyed bothering her. Spottedpelt, it was a name fit for her, his whiskers twitched and he grew even more blank, and he even drew back from where he sat, his emotionalless face, was, well, emotionless. "What are you doing here?" He questioned, knowing full well that he knew the answer. This was her territory after all. A bored emotionless expertion on his face he stopped and lapped at his right foreleg making sure that all the water droplets were off before moving to the next paw. "Your just a kitty-pet after all."

a smile played on Spottedpelt lips. 'What was i doing here. Ha. its my territory!' she thought 'But he already knows that doesnt he... he is after all a warrior.' Spottedpelt layed down and rolled around some, tring to act light hearted and fearless. But deep down she was worried, patrol did come by here once in a while. She pause in her playful rolls, and looked up at the tom. Thornmasks upside down body filled her vision, it was an odd picture. The sun shone behind him allowing the rays to swallow around him. 'hes certainly right about not being an ugly thing' she thought. Spottedpelt blinked a couple of times, clearing her head before answering. "I am here because i can be" she purred mimicking his earlier words. "i dont like being in camp all the time! do you." Suddenly a thought came to her. She hadnt done anything about Thornmask trespassing on ThunderClan soil. Worse, she never really thought anything of it when he said he could be here. Oddly enough Spottedpelt didnt see him much of a danger to her or her clan.
Spottedpelt watched the upside down tom wash himself with amusement. She had never seen someone so through.

Spottedpelt felt a small twing of hurt, unknowing. It felt like a tiny Thorn embeded inside of her. She rolled back over onto her stomach and stared blankly at him. She was used to the term, at the moment she couldnt help feelingg like she wasnt being a good warrior by letting herself interact with the Shadowclan tom. She closed her eyes, thinking back to when her and her brothers left their two legs. "no... " she answered as she continued to keep her eyes closed. "Im no longer Tayla... not anymore... not ever" Spottedpelt spoke with a lack of emotion, hiding and burying her feeling deep. "im not as easy to mess with as you thought huh Thornmask.." she asked suddenly opening her silver eyes, they burned and flared with emotion, no matter how hard she tried. As she did she stared right at Thornmasks orbs, hoping to get a small flare of emotion.

"I am here because i can be," She had purred. He just watched her. "I don't like being in camp all the time! do you?" her meow was loud annoying, but he was enteraining himself. He meowed about her kitty-pet routs and her her replies. "no," her eyes were closed, Thornmask felt a tug but looked away for a moment, gathering himself before looking back at her when she spoke again. "I'm no longer Tayla, not anymore, not ever," He cocked an eyebrow, his tongue peeking out slightly. She was indeed fun to mess with. "I'm not as easy to mess with as you thought, huh Thormask." Thornmask watched as her huge silver eyes turned to look up into his. Her emotions were roaring at him and his own barier slipped. His eyes widen and he took a step back. Guilt was clear in his eyes the strongest emotion that rolled into the mix with the pain and the anger that boiled in him.

"No," He meowed taking in a deep breath of air, his eyes widening as he let his tail curl around his paws. His emotion riding eyes closed and he took in a deep breath. "I dislike camp. I dislike not being able to bother you. Now tell me, Spottedpelt, why is the sky blue?" His nose wiggled slightly as his eyes became their normal emotionless, blank ideal. His eyes closed, and his ears flicked, looking for any sound if he catch the slightest sound of a patrol he'd attack Spottedpelt and make it seem like she was just catching him trying to still prey. Then again why did he care! 'Stop' His eyes opened and he looked at Spottedpelt, his eyes clouded as he tryed to figure her anger out. Being called a kitty-pet couldn't be that bad.

There Spottedpelt stood. She had a bengal pelt, a cute angry fac- wait cute?! Thornmask shook his head in slight anger, but the emotion of anger was not clear in his eyes. His nose flaired slightly and he lifted his head to look at the sky. He dropped his head and gave her one single emotion, on he could muster the best he could through his anger, he seemed to calm down the slightest when he looked into her silver orbs. He showed a calm, no longer angered, expression. "Listen here, and I'll give you a pointer. You don't roll around when a enemy clan cat is sitting here. Dangerous." He muttered hating he was trying to help the she-cat. He was know for his hatred and his 'emo' ways. Though he bet if she asked any cat about him, they would all tell her that he was a emo kitty. Oh well.

<sub>Spottedpelt's eyes widened with shock as she saw the sudden and brief flood of emotion roll off of Thornmask, in waves, waves that made even him take a step back. The emotion she saw was mainly Guilt, which confused her terribly so. Whats he got to be guilty about? Spottedpelt couldnt help but feel a tug for him, now that he had let that strong brick wall fall for a few seconds in time.

Spottedpelt tilted her head in confusion. She had never thought of that before, she didnt think any cat would. but it was an intresting question, she had to think for a moment. As she thought, multiple other thoughts interupted her. like how the sun shone amazingly on the toms pelt, or how even with the hidden emotions and thoughts, his eyes still seems so alive and beautiful. 'no stop' she screamed in her head, narrowing her eyes at herself. Spottedpelt stuttered slightly as she answered. "Well i really dont know.." which was the truth, the question had caught her off guard. "Maybe its every cats emotions that swirl out of control, making it a brilliant blue. 'maybe its the sun shinning off of his eyes.' she thought 'no, no, no, no stop it Spottedpelt' she yelled to herself. "It could be the worlds way of telling us that its daytime, to wake up, to get to work." She mewed, she quickly looked down, and began to lick her chest, hoping the control the unsteadyness in her voice. Also tring to avoid Eye contact. "Why is the sun orange, or the sky dark at night. Well I really don't know.. He couldn't help but looked up at the sky then. Maybe it's every cat's emotions that swirl out of control, making it a brilliant blue. Her voice, after saying this made his fur tingle. So would that mean on stormy days when the sky was covered, or that ever cloud that took it's place in the sky was a cat dying to be relieved? It could be the worlds way of telling us that it's daytime, to wake up, to get to work.
