Sunstorm, as her name suggests, is a bright furred cat. Her pelt is a mixture of, fiery orange and darker reddish brown stripes lining her backside, and an eggshell white underbelly. Sunstorm's pelt itself is not particularly fluffy or thin. It's rather average... but don't let that make you think she is just an average cat, because she is FAR from that.[/sub]
Her eyes are the first thing that makes her seem... different. They appear to be a grayish-green color, but are very pale at times, giving her the appearance of a blind cat or a feline with its head stuck in the clouds. However, when these eyes are not distant, Sunstorm has a very kind look about her. The paleness seems to vanish, and bright, expressive emerald pearls show instead.
Sunstorm has a few minor little details on her that are harder to notice. Her nose is a bright pink color, and her whiskers are short, but thick. Her tail is rather stubby for a cat's, and is tipped with the same creamy white as her underbelly. Her pawpads are the same color as her nose, only perhaps a bit paler due to walking over dirt and snow depending on the season. Perhaps the last thing to note about Sunstorm is the strange tag on her ear. It's yellow and made out of a hard material -- plastic. On it are symbols no cat would be able to understand, but to the twolegs that put this tag on her, they mark a code.
WHAT ARE YOU LIKE?
Sunstorm is a.... bit of a loose chain. Actually, scratch that with your retractable claws. She's a complete wacko![/sub]
You see, Sunstorm, while usually kind and caring to her clan, has mood swings like no other cat before her. One second, she's tending to the wounded with a smile and caring words, and the next she's sputtering and hissing about how everyone is stupid for getting themselves into unneeded messes that only she can fix.
Besides Sunstorm's.... Unpredictable moods, she has another thing that makes her seem... much crazier then the average cat. Often during her waking hours, she will stop everything and see visions. Most of the time, they are visions of past happenings (either to her, or to other cats she may or may not know). That said, once in a while, StarClan sends her messages; most of the time, they are for from ominous, but Sunstorm tends to overthink everything, and make all her little visions into bigger deals then they have to be. This usually causes conflict between her, and the Clan leader.
One of Sunstorm's true weaknesses are young cats. Though her calling is to be a healer, she sometimes yearns to have a mate and kits, and is often jealous of the queens and proud father warriors walking around the campsite.
Sunstorm is also terrified, but in awe of humans. When she is not committed to her clan, she tries to study the strange creatures, but keeps far away from them for the fear that she will be caught (again).
YOUR FAMILY TREE
Sunstorm knows nothing of her mother, father, or any other kin. Why?[/sub]
Sunstorm's history is a big blur for the most part. Most of her very early young life was spent underneath bright lights that rendered the poor kit unable to see what was going on. A few things however, she remembers with extreme accuracy, one of which being that she was a captive to humans.
All around her were the mews and terrified shrieks of her own kind being experimented on, but Sunstorm knew not of what was going on. She was too young, ignorant.... Other cats around her tried to warn her to get away, but the message was never drilled into the kitten's head very well, for she was eventually taken to the labs where she was experimented upon. Most of Sunstorm's memory from then onwards are of pain and confusion. Strange visions and callings seemed to be drawing her out of the torture chamber though, but Sunstorm could not fathom what they were.
Finally, one day, the young cat managed to slip away from the cruel twolegs that had experimented upon her, and followed the "voices" she heard into the forest, eventually stumbling upon ThunderClan. Immediately, Sunstorm was convinced that these were the cats calling her from outside her hell, and therefore, had saved her indirectly. She vowed to stay loyal to ThunderClan and help in whatever ways possible.
At first, Sunstorm tried to be a Warrior, but was too easily distracted by her strange visions and odd dreams of things she couldn't quite understand. One day, after her mentor grew quite angry with her, she ran into the leader's den. In all her sorrow, she explained that she was seeing visions and could not focus on her Warrior training.
This revelation lead to Sunstorm becoming a Medicine cat, which she excelled in quite quickly.
